DAY TRIP FOR THE NEW YEARS PIE IN KALONERO AND IN THE ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE OF OLYMPIA (6/2/2005)
On Sunday the 6th of February 2005 the annual day trip for the New Years Pie in Kalonero was organized by our Association. The program also included a trip to ancient Olympia with a guided tour in its archeological sites. The departure was made from Kalamata station with two Railbuses and the first stop was in Kalonero where the celebration for the new year and the cutting of the New Years Pie was done. After the ceremony the two Railbuses continued their journey to the station of Olympia, with intermediate stops of course for the necessary pictures, where a guided tour of the participants took place from a professional. The trip had huge success as 198 people participated (!!!) and about 200 more were on the waiting list.
